Thanks to everyone who came out to the State House on September 17 to participate in our 10th annual Whispers Butterfly Release. What a great way to honor and remember those affected by ovarian cancer and other female-related cancers. Take a look at some beautiful footage and coverage of the event in these media links:

The 2015 Phantom Gala, which was not held on April Fool’s Day, again proved to be a huge success. We are so appreciative of our supporters who agreed that they “would not attend” this non-event, but graciously sent in their contributions to further our mission of educating women in the Midlands about ovarian cancer awareness. Thanks to all of you. Also, a big thank you to our presenting sponsor Lexington Medical Center and all of our corporate sponsors who continue to support our cause. Go here to see our thank you ad that ran in The State newspaper recognizing all of our sponsors.

Spring Tea

A spring tea, hosted on March 28 by the First Lady of USC, Patricia Pastides, was given as a thank you to Sigma Alpha Omega Sorority for all they do year round for education and awareness of ovarian cancer symptoms.

Tale of Two Sisters
Our oncology nurses often speak to the issue of inherited gene mutation risks associated with ovarian cancer. Read a feature of two of their Coalition board members and their “Tale of Two Sisters”.
